Trucker hits bridge in NY

Out of curiosity, what would happen if he stopped before that last bridge? would they have to stop traffic at some point to tow him out of there?

 

Most likely yes. If your to tall to go underneath then they won't let you go. Maybe not tow but could b long way to back up.

 

Worse came to worse cops would block up traffic and he would be towed or turn around or back up. He would probably get cited for something and given proper directions. But there is really no excuse for this drivers level of inattentivness. As a driver you HAVE to be aware of ALL surroundings at all times. Up, down, left, right, front, back. AND FRICKIN' READ ALL ROAD SIGNAGE!!!
