They are a truck driver staffing agency, not an actual motor carrier. Any local jobs they have would vary depending on the employer who hired TransForce to fill the positions. Many companies use a temp agency as a way of screening employees. If a driver does a poor job, the employer just calls TransForce (or other temp agency) and has the driver removed and replaced with another driver. You would likely need to work for TransForce for several months before you could be formally hired by the carrier you would be doing work for. Your pay should go up once formally hired since the temp agency is no longer getting a cut of the labor costs. The pro side of this as a driver is you can work for numerous accounts all while still employed by TransForce (or other temp agency). If you find an account that is very good, then work hard and getting formally hired.
