Here we go again with big trucks ALWAYS being at fault. I didn't see where there were any plans to change 4 wheelers. I have never had an accident, knock on wood. I don't talk on the cell, put on makeup or read the newspaper while driveing. How many 4 wheelers are are rested, alert and curtious while driveing? But I'm preaching to the choir cause if your on this forum ya know all this already.

Yeah, these people are totally ignoring the Causation study done by the University of Michigan! If they would read that study, they would know that only 22% of the accidents causing death were the truckers fault, the other 78% was the 4 wheelers fault. And not only that, in the study over half of the 4 wheelers involved had a drug or alcohol issue as well. The truckers had a 0% on that portion of the study.
But you know, these people love to ignore facts!!! Because the facts don't server their cause! -
Watch how fast they change their minds then. -
With ya on that. While we're at it how about ALL heaters and ac's will only operate for five min. in a one hour period? In fact how about ALL vehicles be subject to randomly being pulled into a scale and DOTed so we know we're all safe and nobody has drugs. drink, crappy equitment or tired drivers? -
Exactly spot on...Good post -
They do indeed use "facts" but, you do know how the "facts" can be manipulated to show "their"results. Just ask "Hockey Stick" Al Gore, his "facts" get in the way of the TRUTH. -
My son was hauling a load to NJ...he somehow got on a street with a weight limit...when he finally found a place to turn, he jumped a curb and scraped a light pole. He didn't even realize he scraped the pole until the cops stopped him...they ticketed him for 5 violations !!! 2 for being on 2 streets with weight limits...1 careless driving, 1 leaving the scene, and 1 failure to report. He has hired Jim Kleppers company for representation...but what do you all thing his chances are? I hope & pray he doesen't lose his license over this...it's his first offense...his court date is Tuesday...I've heard NJ is a really bad place to drive. Am I being overly worried...I'm about to have a heart attack over this....he's taking it as a hard lesson learned, and said he will just try to go on afterwards if his license get revoked, but I can't stop thinking about it....it's a mom thing, I guess...any imput, anyone? Thanks !
