wow thanks pete.... you have no idea how ####y that makes me feel lol jk i'm just doing my best and have been lucky to not have all the problems others have had.... also any problems I have had I just kept a good attitude and went with the flow as I know I cannot change things lol

 

You know that feeling you get when you find out that you've done something incrediably stupid?? Then the joyous feeling you get when you get everything figured out and found out you got away with it?? Well.............. been there, done that, and did it again tonight. Was updating logs and figuring out my recap, when I finally clicked to the fact that I was missing a whole day. Had the log, just didn't write it down. Had to go back and refigure 5 days worth and STILL..... came out legal. Is this where one uses the phrase, "I'd rather be lucky than good"?


Am in a rest area, just east of Des Moines.

At least I made 6 months with a lease being my first time but only because my GF sent me money when I didn't make any.

 

Hey everyone. I just finish up orientation with transam in rockwall today. Everyone in my class except for me has signed up for the lease. Anyway my coach pick me today so we heading to kanas to delivered. George you was in my class lastweek if you remember me. But glad you doing ok. Talk to you soon.

 

Geez, I take the evening off to read a book, I come back and Pete and Panhandle are singing, gamma is fainting ....can't turn my back for a minute, I miss all the good stuff!

George, I am glad that you are doing well and happy with your DM. That makes things so much better when you have dispatch that works with you. It won't be long now til you get home time! I know jungHo will be happy to have you home.

gamma, Pete is right .....we are all proud of you. That is so sad about all of the students in your class. I have never figured out why TransAm wants to do business that way. With just a few changes it could be so much better .....sigh ....if they would just let me run things! The first thing I would change is the leasing option.

 

jungHo, are you ok this evening? I know you have a lot to deal with ....good thoughts and prayers sent your way. It won't be much longer til George gets home time! Was it June 7? He is doing well and has a great attitude, I know you are proud of him. I am too.

Would that be you, Crawford W? or Tim Floyd? Was a good group in that class. I thought most everyone in there was going company drivers. Yeah, everybody needs to get use to the system, their driver managers, the shippers and receivers habits as to how long they must wait. I was in Pompano Beach at Associated Grocers of Florida nearly 9 hours should have been only six, but they were so slammed they had lost my paperwork. I will give them a mulligan this time. After all, I don't have a lease to worry about so.....I still have a lot to learn, but enjoying it here and no lease hanging over my head. That would take the fun out of it for me.

 

Thanks Homequeen for the welcome. Yes George this is Crawford. Timothy was also going company but mims got him to change his mind. Jay was going over all the numbers for leasing so I guess that excited everyone to sign. But I definitely not ready to handle a lease without experience.
