Get cdl. Get 2 years experience before buying a truck.

Do lots of reading on here.

Company driver - 35-100k gross/year.

O/O - bit more complex . . . takes some smarts.

Trucking is the highest paying job on the planet. Well, not now but the day all the truckers stop and park their trucks, it will be. Truckers deliver everything in this nation. No job would happen if the truckers did not allow them to. Food arrives at grocery store by the good graces of truckers. Medicine and medical supplies arrive at hospitals because we truckers work hard. Factories only product because raw materials hauled in by truck arrive just in time. Walmart is basically a large trucking company. Amazon.com wouldn't sell a thing if trucks didn't move them. So, because we truckers refuse to work cheap or to haul cheap freight or to s cre w over our fellow truckers by undercutting them, we are the highest paid folks on the plant.
