The adventures of 'Team Klingon'

Sigh... Klingon hit Bambi... At a Swift terminal in Syracuse, NY... They had parts in stock... I might actually be impressed! Now if they follow through and get our truck done this afternoon I really WILL be impressed

 

LOL... Nope... Didn't have our shovel with us

They got the radiator and bumper fixed same day we brought it in!! Why did we not find this terminal before? The attitudes and condition of the terminal is night and day different than any other we have been in! We are still here though... Even though the repairs are done, there is an AC hose that with the manipulations of the repair showed up a leak... So hose repaired tomorrow and AC recharged... We are going to rent a car and see the sights around this area... Maybe even slip into Canada since we are so close!!

 

Doesn't look like we will be... They will be getting to the AC hose this AM and the load we were under still hasn't found a driver to deliver it... So we will probably get it back. It delivers on Monday @ 0300 in NH... From there we will be aiming West...

 

Yep... Getting that load back... Time on our hands so what do we do? Rent a car and I am posting this from a Tim Horton's in Canada!! That was after visiting Niagara Falls... I'm looking forward to being able to do more of this!!

 

LOL... Not paid, but having a chance to BE a tourist! Tourist stuff is expensive, but it's been a LONG time since we've done something like this

But if you know a gig that will pay us for doing this, let me know!!

 

AMEN! Right now we get $0.905/mile +FSC on loaded miles (basically all our miles were loaded on our loop) which adds up to about $1.35/mile and run 4987 miles per week with only one day off... Looking forward to not having to run as many miles to make the same OR run just as hard, but make more!
