Where in that did he say what you just said?

Maybe you need a reading comprehension course.

They were indeed bought for the coors fleet. But they were in the shop so much that they didn't want to run them. So they gave them to local drivers. I drove one on kraft local for a couple months. I didn't mind it, as I was home every weekend. And the turning was awesome on it. Not to mention I once hauled a 46,500 load out of kraft once. I don't know what they were thinking because it was preloaded, and they didn't know I was coming with a light weight truck. I believe they are 2k lighter and 2 feet shorter. Eventually they were in the shop so much so all the local drivers turned them in. I noticed there have been 3 of them sitting in a terminal for a few months since they got turned in. They really aren't that bad. But I agree they should pay you extra, as prime does for there's. And I believe the mini cascadias they do too. Also. The mattress are not the same size. They're about a foot or so narrower. I know because the shop originally gave me a normal size mattress and it was too big.

I've seen most of marten and scheniders intermodal drivers using them. I caught up with a marten guy once and asked them if they were paying him extra. He said that he was getting guaranteed 195/day with 2 days a week off. So he didn't mind it. I don't know about Schneider though. I've been kind of curious though if they get paid extra. Atleast prime is smart enough to put apus on their trucks. I'll give them that. Now if they'd just stop going 55 and atleast go 60. They'd be a half decent company in my book. Don't hate on me. lol.

uh? local work? since when did Central have a "local" fleet?

I used mine on the Midwest fleet, they claimed "everyone on the fleet has one" even though everyone else had full-size Cascadias and Pro-stars, one guy even had a 386 (no idea how, he's not complaining though) and then I was told "everyone will soon have one" if thats true then alot of people will quit

I saw 3 the whole time I worked there, mine, this OTR guy, and this abbandoned one.

why should they pay extra? its easier just to pay a flat rate to everyone, saves on paperwork

i got 41 CPM but so did the guy with the Cascadia on the same fleet as me, and his truck had heat, A/C, his bed fit, and his windows didn't leak

Central has local fleets in almost every major city. In the Midwest there is a kraft local fleet. And a Midwest local fleet. There is a Wisconsin local. A St. Louis local. Slc has locals. Conley has locals. They're needed in almost every major city. When you drop a load at a drop yard that's two days early and only delivers 20 miles away and it's live. Who else is going to take that load and deliver it. That's why there's locals. And they run red tagged trailers around. And empty trailers to customers whom drivers go in and take mts from. Believe it or not they're at a customer for a reason lol. And idk who said Midwest is getting light weights because that's not true. Ive met one mw driver in one. Other than that I've been seeing the majority of drivers get cascadias and 386's. I even saw a couple 587's go out to midwesr.
