The wife and I just had dinner in downtown La Grande, OR in a pretty good restaurant across from the tire shop. Little pricey, but it was goooood.

Me and my son had lunch at Farmer Boys in Riverside yesterday. It is was pretty good. You have to park at the Three Sisters Truck Stop and walk over. It is at the corner of Sliver and Cherry.

cant remember if this was covered or not in previous threads, but if I lease a truck and switch to another one in or before 90 days, does the amount ive paid so far go towards the "new" truck or is it just 10k I chalk up to "rental" fees?
-
If/when you upgrade trucks is a whole new lease. Payments made on previous truck don't roll over to next truck.

R trailers are for both rail and road. I trailers strictly for rail. The ones with the T still on it are very old trailers lol.

As huge a proponent of JCT as I am, this is one of the things that gripes my a s s.
Had a trailer tire deteriorate very quickly yesterday (within 200 miles). Called road service last night and they asked me if I could make it to La Grande to the shop there. I told them maybe. I really thought the tire would blow on me. So I limped it in, spent the night as to not spend extra money for an after hours service call. Shop calls road service this morning to get authorization only to find out they don't have Continentals on hand. They have 1 Bridgestone trailer tire and one Yokohama steer tire. Road service tells the shop to have me call JCT. I call. They want me to go elsewhere cause we don't do Bridgestone anymore. I tell them no. I took a chance getting it here in the first place and am at the location JCT told me to be at.
I politely told road service that wasn't going to fly at all. I'm 100 miles from Ontario and I'm pretty sure this tire will blow beforehand. Plus, I'm not risking an OOS violation because JCT is trying to save a buck.
Road service guy says he can't authorize Bridgestone or he'll lose his job. Not my Problem. I'm not willing to jeopardize my CSA or CDL because of a few dollars. Their equipment, their problem. Not playing runaround Sue for them.
Now I'm waiting on a call back to see if he can get authorization for the Bridgestone tire.drloveofdfw and Stile Thank this. -
