    Sorry down under but USA vs Oz is comparing apples to oranges. I have no clue what km translates to miles or what your government restricts yall to daily. Or what your cost of living is vs ours.

    When I was running bandit 5k miles a week solo was easy. now with eobr 3500+ puts me at max allowed by law:/{thankfully I dont need those bandit days anymore;) }

    No offense. I'm earning .51 per mile and more.

    I'm a new driver and everyone earns more than me.

    Seriously, I'm at .49 -.52 per mile.

    I have a blast, too.

    Good money, good times, good people. ####, life is pretty good, ain't it?

    Not to belabor the obvious, Down Under, but what difference does it make what mileage rates are a few thousand miles from here?

    That $1,164 week must have been good.

    you are the perfect example of why trucking industry doesn't want to pay by the hour. Now do the same math, but with the logbook, counting hours. And post the results.

    I'm not complaining, I'm working BY THE HOUR at the oilfields. I sleep into my own bed every night. Good luck with your OTR.
    If your OTR jobs starts getting paid by the hour, you will receive at least 7.25. But you are happy with your cents by the mile. You are too stupid to realize you are being scammed by trucking companies, and instead, attack people like me Look yourself in the mirror when you pull over after many hours on the road, and think what are you doing to pay your bills. How you get into debt. What are you really giving up. Open your eyes. Good luck, you need it.
