Waiting on Cranes to arrive and Forklifts stuck in mud has been the norm lately , but at least with that someone is on them to get things done and fast

Yeah...But you can MINIMIZE your percentage down to virtually nothing..HOW??

    For Instance.......

Pulling a Flatbed I DO NOT.....

    1. Move any Port Loads UNLESS they are 'Legal' and can be loaded with a simple forklift ( Small crates,Sheet steel or a small coil)
2.Minimal Job -site deliveries..(Only IF they are 'waiting' for me sitting on a lift truck
3.No farms..No Hay... No 'Used' Construction equipment........the Stuff is rarely ready to Load when you get there

My main focus and freight I haul are Smaller manufacturing/fabricating shops with little to NO waiting..Also no trucks to wait in line to load

I do the same things you listed and have for years , my post was just to point out that you do end up sitting at times REGARDLESS of what you pull and BIG $ loads have hassles as well lately weather related of which customer is billed waiting time.

I've never had to wait at a Meijer store or DC. In fact I love Meijer's. It must be my Michigan blood. I pull a lot of loads into Spartan DC in Grand Rapids, MI too. Never wait there either. The longest I've had to be at either is an hour and a half.

^^^^Brian--for whatever reason---there is a MAJOR difference between the Mi Meijer DCs and Oh--maybe contract or outside influence--I do not know.....BUT we have 3 customers who ship to them--and we will not deliver to Tipp City--but take the Mi all the time---in and out.....

    Mike2633 and RustyChops41 Thank this.
