Wyandot Inc Marion Ohio (Aldi's ) and Roaches

Let me tell you what is happening to me due to getting "rejected due to roaches on product" found at the receiver.
I picked up a load at the Wyandot Oh. facility , my trailer was inspected by them and found to be "clean , dry and pest free" as documented by the Wyandot personnel . After waiting 6+ hrs to be loaded , I then had to drive straight through to the Aldi's facility in Salisbury NC to make my appointed delivery time, stopping only once in Hebron Oh to fuel at the pilot.

I arrived early at Aldi's in Salisbury NC , was put to the dock, was told of a lumpers fee,, "ok the normal so far". Then after a short period, the gentleman from Aldi's came out and stated that they had to reject the load because they saw roaches on the product and that they had reloaded the product, he handed me my original BOL's unsigned, and asked me to please leave the facility, I then asked to speak to someone ,, he took me inside where I met a lady (supervisor I assume) we spoke of the situation and I asked her for something in writing stating why the load was rejected,, she ask me to bring her my original BOL's and she them wrote across the BOL's " Rejected Due To Roaches Found On Product" and signed it.

Now I have a trailer (my only trailer) full of a contaminated product that has been sitting since 6-20-14 it's now 6-25-14, and they have asked me for such things as my log books (which I don't think can legally ask for) pictures of the roaches ( only one I have I got from an Aldi's personnel )who sent it to me via text message.

NOW they are asking for pictures of the inside of my trailer , stating the roaches came from the walls of my trailer. The trailer is still full of the product tight to back doors.


From my point of view (maybe I'm wrong) but, as I see it, I was given a clean bill of health on my trailer by shipper "before" loading and then got rejected by Aldi's. I am not at fault as I see it.

I use a dry van but it was clean and as stated by the inspection, "pest free"
