sounds to me like the scale operator screwed something up. esp considering your truck number was wrong on the ticket.

We're they fracing while you were blowing off? They could have run that sand that they say you stole while you were blowing it off. It happens alot and gets covered up by the frac company.

don't know about other frac operations but we have a spotter watching each compartment and close the hatch when empty. the sand blasted face would be rather unpleasant if running a compartment while its being filled.

Was this a prefill load or a drag load?

I've never been on a frac that had someone watch a compartment while they were running sand out of it. In fact I've been on a couple that the sand trucks were behind on and we blew in as they pulled out. Who do you work for?

I had a lot of them do that. Might be changing what they were loading into it. Say done with 100 mesh and going to 20/40 of some other size. Tell you when it was empty. Shut the bottom door and start blowing. If you are missing 20K+ lbs you would know by how little time it took to unload. You would finish well ahead of the rest. Never saw a king that would only hold 30k empty. Must be a tiny one. Who you hauling this for anyway? TriCan, Weatherford others held at least 40-50k even in 4 or 5 depending on how many it had.

I'm with you it's odd that a bin would only hold 30k. That should've only took 15 minutes to blow off. On the grave we run they don't watch the bins even swapping products they just blow on top of the little that's left.
