To pass the test at a new company that is.

The way I do it is probably wrong and I'm going to be tested when I switch to a new company.

    Thanks

Jump out while flailing your arms yelling "I am superman!" That will get you real good marks.

i actually jumped out of my trailer once, foot got caught in something and i had to land on my hands

that hurt for a few weeks

i would presume corporate america wants you to sit, turn around, extend your feet and slowly lower yourself down

or sit and push yourself off of the deck

    Derailed and pattyj Thank this.

We use a 6' aluminum ladder at work. That would likely be the safest way to go.

Pretend you are an old man. Climb up on the ICC Bumper with two feet and one hand grabbing rail or something on side of trailer. Push other hand off the trailer deck and get one knee in the trailer and slide your ### in. That's how I do it except for the pretending part.

Now for getting out I just make sure the strap or handle is secure and I ride down with the overhead door.

If you want to make it easy though, ask them if you can back it into a door first.

"Pretend you are an old man..."

    Ha!

For me, I don't need to pretend.
