Depends on how hard you are on them.

 

Deluxe has laminated pages, so you can use a wax pencil or the like on them. Dry erase markers work well, too. They are more durable than the paper ones, so if you use it a lot, it pays for itself in pages not ripping out. I have an older one I use, and it is holding up fine after 5-6 years of riding along.

 

I bought the paper one when I first started cause it was cheap.

It didn't last long.

Not a bad price considering Amazon is selling it for a pre-order price of $53.20. I used to use my laminated atlas as a makeshift table many years ago. It would lay nice on the steering wheel for me to eat my lunch/dinner on and not worry about the pages getting wet. The Deluxe version will become obsolete long before it wears out.
