I'm sitting in cathrage MO waiting to be loaded, I have a 3 stop load which I'm not too crazy about but hey, atleast they pay for the extra stops, so that makes it worth it. First stop is in mayfield KY about 350 miles, then the next is in Elizabethtown, and my other is in Louisville, not very clear on the time for delivery I'm waiting on my dispatcher to get back to me on that. All in all this trip will give me just short of 700 miles with a day and a half to get it there. One thing I'm noticing and liking a lot is the time on the trips, every trip I've gotten has been just enough time for me to get there, and get another load. It's been very smooth, I may be driving all night depending on the times I have to be in mayfield by, which is no biggie I like night driving. NO STUPID 4WHEELERS! Well I'm off to get some sleep, stay safe!

Woke up this morning at 7am after taking only an 8 hour break to make my app. on time, now I'm on my 2nd stop, after I take my 2 hour break I'll head over to Louisville for my final stop, and then deadhead 150 miles for my next load. They are running me like CRAZY. I'm noticing they have plenty of freight, I've been running strong for almost 2 weeks now, and always have a load waiting on me. I'm going to stay out for another week or so then request to be sent home, running like this makes you enjoy the sleeper, that's forsure! Something I was not used to at Roehl!

Well, I'm taking my 10 hour at the shipper in bowling green KY then gotta be in Salem VA at 4pm tomorrow. Just under 500 miles. I'd like a trip to the west coast, I have not been out there yet

Well, today was a very good day at UZ trans, I received a telephone call and email from the safety dept. and from the owner telling me that they hired a team drivers because of my pic they gave them my truck number, how the referral works is I get 1% of the driver(s) monthly gross income, for aslong as they are working here. Pretty awesome deal. Bobby the owner called and told me I was doing a good job, it feels great to be recognized for my hard work. I'm really liking it here, I've had ZERO problems since I have started, everything is running smooth and there isn't one person that isn't extremely pleasant to work with, everyone is very helpful and nice. I will defiantly be here along time. I'm also looking forward to leasing a truck when I have a little more cash saved up, good things to come I feel from this company.

I am in Salem, VA at the Kroger dc getting unloaded now, I have a little over 2 hours on my 14. I'm hoping I can make it to Walmart down the road to get some things, but we'll see. I already have a load in the morning I'll have the details once they close this load I'm currently on. Overall it's been a good day, and it's been a great 2 weeks since I have started here! I'll keep posted on where I'm off to next.
    Stay safe!

Well, I got my first real paycheck! Boy was it nice.
Total miles for the week paid 3394. My bring home was 1,057. That was after they took money for a hotel and drug test (that will be reimbursed 90 days from the date I started) so really, I made just over 1,200. More than triple then what I was making with Roehl. I love it here, I really do!
I gotta drive through New York tomorrow on 95, anyone know if taking the 287 loop around the city is worth it? I'm trying to avoid the city at all costs! Lol. Thanks for any help

Sounds like some pretty good paychecks. If you want to take i95 it really depends on the time of day. Overnight (like past 8 or 9pm) I'd say go for it, day time I'd stick with 287. Traffic around here gets pretty bad on Independence Day, but you might catch a break since we're expecting rain around here tomorrow, which means less tourists will be traveling to the shore.

Got through newyork in one piece, it was only my second time and it really wasn't nearly as bad as I rememberd, maybe because it was only my 3rd trip being away from my trainer that it was so terrifying lol. Anyways, I made it to my stop in CT, I tried to get unloaded tonight but they didn't have enough people, so I'll be getting unloaded at 10am then I pick up a load going to Baton Rouge (1500 miles) then to fl for my well needed home time! I'd say the first trip out went very good! I'm anxious to get home, always on the 3rd or 4th week I really start to miss home.

Well I'm on my hometime they got me home on the day I asked to be no problem. I head back out tomorrow with a nice 1400 mile trip, and the owner called me the day after I got home and told me that he has a 2015 Volvo here waiting on me when I come back out! I can't wait about that! Everything has still been going great! I'm about to begin voyage #2 so I'll keep everyone posted
