If he was next in line up to bat he should have stayed in his rig.

If he was next in line, there shouldn't have been room for you to squeeze in front of him.

The fact he was back far enough for another truck to fit into the fuel island ahead of him tells me he'd been parked there for a while.

He should have come back out and pulled up when the one in front of him pulled up to fuel.

His tough luck for not taking care of his business while taking care of his business. Those that can't multitask shouldn't try.

For all you knew he was in the sleeper taking 10 -you did the right thing.
That driver should have just went to his own truck and stewed in his own stupid knowing exactly what happened and why you were there- he would have done exactly the same.

Was at a receivers, parked in the driveway. Had a Weiner truck parked at the gate. Gate was closed, sign on the gate says that receiving opens at 0700. I start my truck at 0645. Exactly at 0700, they open the gate. Weiner fires up his truck and is trying to build his air. I go around him. So does the next truck. And the next. And the next. And the next. Weiner comes in raising hell about all the trucks that cut around him.

Should the whole world stop because a driver has his head in his arse? Absolutely not.

First in line on the outside of the gate means nothing if you are not reading to be the first one to enter the gate! Next time he should wake up earlier! :)

I would have told that guy to go F himself. Then again, when he left the rig he'd already done that.

    Inconsiderate, lazy #######.

It's another episode of "Really, are you kidding me?".

i would have done the same thing, and told the guy to get with the times.

    COMDATA CARD OR SOMETHING.

i HATE having to go in for authorization, to talk back out and fuel. i'm a lazy S.O.B. the less walking i have to do. the less wear and tear on my body and heart.

Maybe he was one of those arrogant people who was counting on you to be submissive in order for him to take advantage of you, after fueling at a pilot I pulled forward to use the washroom and get a receipt, when i came out of the washroom some old cranky guy asked me if I was parked in front of fuel island 5, I said yes, he then blasted me for being inside and said I need to move my truck immediately ( if you've ever been to a pilot you know parking is few and far between at 8 pm)so i said to him " last time i checked friend I don't take orders from you unless you can produce a badge":biggrin_25523:. I don't tolerate arrogance from anyone.:biggrin_25525:

Isn't that sorta like leaving your cart next in the checkout line and going out to the car to get payment and despite the cashier becoming free expecting whomever was behind you in line to wait on you anyway?

    "I was next".

    Yep, and you're still next.
