Night driving tips

I hated night driving but once I realize 99% of truck driving is at night I just accepted it. Now I am wide awake at night.

 

I have a sirius stiletto 100, kind of old, but it allows me to record just like a DVR! Up to 6 hours per recording and I can listen to a recording while recording live.

The benefit is being able to FF past commercials! And the pause feature is great for when you have stop for whatever. Fueling, bathroom breaks, running into guard shacks or shipping offices.

The secret is "Gum." I was talking to a driver and he said that the key to night driving is music, and what ever keeps you going coffee, MT Dew. The secret is gum. Chew some gum while driving and you'll stay up because your brain is telling your jaw to chew chew chew. I didn't believe him until I tried it for myself. Really works. If I do get to tired of course I pull over.
