I got my cdl now I have 66 driving hours btw, I have been through 2 trainers. My first trainer was always zooted out of his mind, Im talking about the hard stuff too. I got of his truck as soon as I noticed what was going on. My second trainer method of training was always yelling when you screwed up. I drove better on my 1st trainers truck, then I did with my 2nd trainer. My 2nd trainer talked down towards me so bad, its til the point where my confidence is running real low right now!! They got my scheduled to leave tomorrow morning to leave with my 3rd trainer, but Im at a point now that I don't know if I want to quit or continue on. Im stressed, confused, & doubting that I can do it. Any advice from the forum? I will greatly appreciate it.

Hang in there. I trained through that company as well and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I have been to Iraq 4 times by the way! It all gets better once you get on your own truck (sort of, you're still with swift). It will just teach you how you should treat your trainee if you go that route in the future! Keep your head up, you can do this and gut it out. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!!!

The problem is, their training period is too long. Yep, hang in there until you can leave. Start making plans now for your next move. You live in GA so there's tons of companies that will be happy to hire you. You will get the last laugh on Central/Swift's trainers if you have a good backup plan for your next move.

Once you get some experience the world opens up for you. Just be safe, deliver on time, and don't get any tickets.

I will disagree, 4 weeks isn't very long, but you can learn alot in 4 weeks, but yet you know nothing, its hard to explain

4 weeks can feel like a lifetime if you're with somebody who you can't stand being close to (and thats how I think this guy feels) 4 weeks can feel like a day and a half if you are with somebody you like and can get along with!

I just spent 3 weeks in school with 3 people that I hope to never see again in my lifetime. But when I passed my test and got my CDL, I knew that it was only temporary and I won't have to do that ever again. You made it this far. Don't let them rob you of another minute. Hang in there and look to the day when you go solo. Good luck to you.

What exactly do you mean? Coke, meth, amphetamines, 5 Hrs. Energy? I hope you reported the driver. You could be saving someone's life!
