Hi Cranky, I had a chance to do that for a friend out of GB, but passed on that. I used to have a truck on (my signature photo) with BMT, and before that, hauled eggs and dairy products to GB, so I know a lot of people there. Great place, except on a Monday after the Packers lose.

I agree. Apparently the OP has a split personality or doesn't know where he fits. To proclaim his company treats him like a king then says a week later that they won't look out for him is a little contradictory. I wish I saw that first post from a week ago before I originally responded. But you summed up the answer pretty good. Trucking is trucking. One day on top, the next sitting on the side of the road with a breakdown. All part of it.

Factories in my home town have went from 13 to 19$ an hr + overtime /breaks.

I have gained the equivalent of a .50 cent "40 hour" week.

Next half a penny raise ($20 or 50 cent 40 hr work week). Due in another 200000 miles.

    ....talk about dead end jobs.

    That's company trucking for ya.

Can always buy your own truck ....but there's waaaaayyyyyyy more profitable easier turn key businesses

I drove for a few companies and the dispatcher said I was his favorite driver because I always did what was asked without complaining but I never felt like im treated different then any of the other drivers.

    I wouldn't be complaining op.

    Enjoy the hotel.

Pretend you are collected child support layover!

Hope they got a water slide & pool.

    Whoop whoop!

Personally I'd just find another shop.

But you want to sit around do nothing and get paid.

    I get it.
