    Hey Jessie,

I was looking at the website for Baker Hughes and I didn't see any driving jobs in Cali. Can you tell me what jobs they are hiring for and how much they're paying in Cali? I would really appreciate your help!!

I read what he said and it looks like orientation is in Odessa, but he's hired in California.

Yes, I got it! Just looking for any inside info he might have regarding their California location. I like to keep aware of different options. Hoping he could help me out. I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

I was hired in Bakersfield Ca, they have a recruiting team that come down to bakersfield to hire many people they needed, called there HR representative and she make us to do an interview with there manager. I got hired that day and offered me 19.50 an hour, but job is going to be here in Odessa, Tx. good benefits and they give relocation allowance.

So i left out last Monday headed to Odessa/Midland from Houston...I took the route Mad Frenchman gave me up thru Big Lake(thanks)...Every Company there is Hiring...Not very many places to stay or things to do in Big Lake but who really cares anyway if your working all the time...If you plan to travel look for hotels or motels ahead of time as in everything is high in Midland and again not much in Big Lake...I stayed out in Odessa only 20miles away on business 20.... If your really serious i would try to get out to these areas asap....One thing that i notice alot of companies want u to fill out Apps right there in the office...Companies are everywhere From Odessa to Midland...Business 20 or I-20 and Fairgrounds Rd. had a few....I put in apps with every company that look like it had to do with the Oilfield work now you may not see hiring signs but trust me they are hiring.... So in other news all the places i didnt put in apps i got the websites or name of the company....Put in a app yesterday online had my interview over the phone a few mintues ago just waiting on HR with a offer letter....:biggrin_25520::biggrin_25520::biggrin_25520: not sure if i can list any company names on here but if a person would google energy service or services in those areas you will find alot of companies with websites....Thanks everyone and best wishes!!!!!

Good man! Once you get there it's hard to make up your mind. They have found that there are areas in Permian that are 1200 ft thick. Biggest play in US. Even after all these yrs and on 3rd or 4th new technology spurt.Bigger then ND, or Eagle Ford. Years of work to come. Be safe..
