"Savage had previously been convicted of voluntary manslaughter and crack cocaine possession and served years in state and federal prisons"

Apparently whomever is handing out TWIC cards is not doing background checks for these TWIC card holders themselves. That clown neve even should of had one.

If you think that is strict, this is one of the questions I was asked on a recent application with a Fire Department:

List by last name and then by first name, all members of your immediate family. Include your spouse and children, if any. Also, list all members of your spouse's immediate family, if applicable. Format is: Relationship, Name, Address (including apt/suite number, city, state, and zip Code), Home Phone, Occupation, Name of Firm Where Employed, Address of Firm Where Employed, Work Telephone, Birth date, and Place of Birth. •Immediate family shall include father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, brother(s), sister(s), legal guardian(s), foster parent(s)/child(ren), and/or others who have raised you instead of your parents. •If you have been married more than once, give the requested information concerning each former husband or wife. •If a relative is deceased, give all information requested and indicated last residence and year of death. •If you are engaged to be married or contemplating marriage in the near future, include such individuals. Note: If you exceed the character or space limit, please attach a Microsoft Word document with your application that includes any additional relatives not listed here.

Sorry guys, but I'm not asking my ex wifes father who he works for and their phone number. Also you don't need my parents employer info and you don't need to know when and where they were born.

Move to Denver. The "Springs" are very different than Denver. Denver is more like Chicago. Just drive around Henderson or Commerce City and look for banners hanging on fences saying "Hiring Drivers".

Just starting out? Try RAC Transport, or any local LTL companies based in that industrial area.
Go to the Denver Mission and get you a couple non-family friends to use for references. You can schedule times you want to volunter for online. Real easy kitchen prep work in short shifts. Do this a couple days per week, and you'll make friends. And not just homeless friends. All types of people help out by volunteering there. Good people.
