I am a former Western Express Recruiter for anyone who has questions

This is exactly why this industry is like it is...one former recruiter opens up a thread to clear his conscience of sorts and dispel myths of his former employer and then what happens, another recruiter from another company comes in and drivers tumble over each other to see about working for Company B. We shoot ourselves in the foot any chance we can get. I'm not even saying P&S is a bad company or that recruiter is a bad person, but can't anyone have any tact anymore?

There's very good reason why companies have the reputations they do and why drivers have the reputations we do. We do it to ourselves.

Companies who have stellar safety records and drivers lining up to get on, are rarely talked about here and if they are mentioned, it's always from some second-, third- or fourth-person stance begrudging the company for something they know nothing about.

I can't hang up the keys quickly enough.

It seems pretty clear rayray, from the comments, that Western Express does NOT appear to be a great company to work for and you should probably look somewhere else.

 

WOW, after reading this i was considering W.E. but now i think maybe not.....

 

What have you heard

 

Do some digging , you will find lots of dirt of western.

 

Rayray ever hear someone say don't put that paperclip into that outlet? Good luck with your decision but just might want to keep looking IMO.

 

I have been quoted $1000 a week from a recruiter. Is this realistic? I leave Sunday for training

I am just looking for honest info i leave this sunday for orientation student driver with cdl recruiter telling me 1000 a weak as solo driver all im looking 4 is good training and 1000 a weak checks home time does not matter I can still go with schnider any advise would be appreciated
