you honestly dont think that BIG companies want you running legal? once again, your experience is showing. any driver with a pulse is an asset to werner, which only pays by the mile anyway. WHY would they want to get slapped with an HOS violation when they could pay some tow truck driver 100 bucks and avoid the headache? my company will FIRE YOU after 3 HOS violations. they will actively call you up and tell you to SHUT DOWN if you are getting close.

you keep tap dancing around the fact that they WANTED the load there, if they didnt care, im sure they would have rescheduled the appt. sometimes load appts and HOS dont match up, you will find that out soon enough. btw, j have been doing this 9 years, compared to your 1. I know you think this sounds like im some jerk, but you have no seen all the circumstances behind these times that i was towed/driven away. want to keep your CDL? dont move your truck after hour 14. ITS THE LAW.....

    keep it up w

I'm wondering if you have ever been towed anywhere 100$ it will cost more than that to get a big rig tow company to turn the key

BTW, if i owned a company, in 2014, i would want you legal at all costs. this is one of those times when doing someone a favor, isn really a favor at all. what happens when you violate the hos, and my equipment is impounded, because you wanted to " do me a favor"...save it, drive legal, if #### happens, any trucking company worth driving for can deal with it.....

im just usin it as an example from 2006, when i drove for werner. it was literally 2 miles...still cheaper than long term ramifications of running illegally....

You keep talking about big companies. They aren't desirable in the first place. Logic dictates not caring what they want. I could see on e-logs but I'm paper logs and it doesn't take much thought to make minor adjustments.

It isn't necessarily your demand to tow the car that is a red flag. It is how you come across. You come across as very confrontational and as a difficult employee to deal with. In any industry this kind of person is taxing on a person.
