Did you find a place in Weatherford yet? Nice area but expensive in comparison to further west on I20.
You basing out of that area?

Is there anyone else here that works for Stevens tanker that can verify their pay? Take home not gross. Preferably south Texas since its the higher paying area.

That's one of the guys I was talking to in this thread, that's why I asked if there was anyone else. Trying to get a different opinion and input.

Speaking of unemployable… I have years of experience w/ TX endorsement but I haven’t driven since 2007. Anybody think this kills my chances? Here in GA a JB H*nt intermodal recruiter said he couldn’t hire me and told me to go with a co that hires newbies. That has me wondering. I have a clean record. Did I forget how to drive or what?
I would like to know if it is a lost cause before I even start. I am physically fit and so not dumb. What gives?

A lot of crude oil companies will hire you. We need drivers bad here. And no cold ice driving like in ND.

i have a buddy that drives in ND. He hates dealing we the ice at his loading sites a crew has to come with hot steam to melt ice and snow. And roads are rough and icy. He is moving to texas. Taking a small hour rate loss. But he says worth it no ice or snow. And year round working. Good luck to all going to ND. Just me the xtra money not worth freezing and dealing with cold issues. Ie: truck start fuel well issues roads.
