You can quit smoking!!!!

I'm not saying anything bad about someone trying to quit smoking but those e cigs and vapors have no regulations who knows what sort of chemicals they are putting in them no thanks I'd rather know I was during from smoking than to think I was safe inhaling chemicals that will kill me anyway

 

Yeah, I like blowing my nose and it not being brown.

And not spitting up mud when I cough. I am still a fat ####### but I am not smoking.

 

The problem is that American cigarette manufacturers made many billions of dollars before research studies were " released " about the dangers. With vaping the biggest enemy is not " big tobacco " but comes from " big pharmacy". BT is spendng billions trying to jump on the vaping bandwagon but BP can't do anything but try to regulate the heck out of it. If you don't smoke cigaret's then you won't need the patch, the pills, the anti cancer drugs etc. it's all about the money.

You have to buy your liquid from trusted vendors whom disclose the contents. Most have PG ( In many thousands of foods, drinks hospital ventilation systems etc. ), VG, flavoring and nicotine. All of these are approved by the FDA for human consumption. The problem is there have not been studies to determine what affect's are for vaporizing these components.

 

started smoking around 12 years old. Heavy smoker at least the last 20 years- 2+ packs a day. 57 years old when I quit Apr 5, 2014. Smoked one more cigarette Apr 15th. Had tried quitting multiple time over the years. Cold turkey, patches, gum, hypnotizing, Chantix and convenience store e cigs all to no avail.
Visited a new local vaping store for kicks April 5th , and knew when I tried that I could quit by switching to vaping. Almost 4 months tobacco free, and physically feeling a whole lot better. Continue to deal with some pretty stressful ongoing stuff but haven`t even wanted a cigarette. Others in my family are vaping but not all with my success. For me, it works.

 

Quitters never win.

 

I have tried a few vapor pens that you can buy at truck stops and in other convenience stores . I have not found one that works yet. I find that everytime I take a hit I always end up wanting the real thing. That or I will end up smoking a whole cartridge within 1 hour. I have tried going cold turkey. I guess I will quit smoking when my body is ready to quit smoking.

 

I just quit after 30+yrs April 17th of this year...I used Ecigs for a couple of weeks to make sure I didn't replace cigs with food, worked perfectly...No smoking and I've gained no weight and the ecigs are long gone...You really just have to want to, until then, don't try, it'll be waste of time...

 

Good for you Walstib. Are you feeling better since quitting?

 

Tried the ecigs they made me sick so no luck yet on my end

 

I heard the juice is made from propylene glycol. So who knows how much safer they are than real cigs.
