1990 Western Star Quick Sale

1990 Western Star 4964F. Cat 3406B 425hp w/jakes in very good running order. New in the last 15 months: turbo, water pump, AFR valve ,air compressor, oil seals fuel pump to block, and other misc odds and ends. 14615 transmission (reman) very quiet and tight. 3.70 Eatons on 11r24.5 tires. Neway airride with 3 new bags. April 2014 front end alignment. May 2014 VA state inspected. I bought this in 2012, worked on it in my spare time until may 2013.Put to work running approx. 440 miles a day, without a glitch pulling overgross loads everyday. However, my age,body abuse and size(6-1,240#) make the cab too uncomfortable.Mostly from previous back injuries I would guess. I`ve purchased a newer T600 aerocab for comfort.
This truck IS 24 years old. A perfect candidate for a mostly cosmetic makeover. As it sits today, I would not hesitate to go anywhere. The AC doesn`t work, and I haven`t attempted to check it out. AD-9 air dryer is bypassed. 1 gusset(frame to crossmember) is cracked and need to be replaced. If I keep it I will upgrade to a later model rear suspension for parts availability. A good truck with lots of potential for you do-it yourselfers out there.
I`m open to trades for anything with wheels. Teenage son possibly interested in a Volvo sleeper truck. CASH is also good. Im still looking at trucks I sold 10 years ago, see no reason this one would be any different. My asking price will cover my costs not including anything for many hours of my labor, but you never get it all back, do you?

OK-price might scare you off.Open to offers on anything of value. Like trading and dealing.If I keep it Im gonna cut it and build a quad axle dump. Emergency surgery this past week, so Im a little more interested in selling today than I was.lol. Remember its still roadworthy- other than being cramped I would go anywhere and not be worried. Im also looking for T600 stuff- hood, radiator, and bumper right now. Also have a complete VW bug project with everything needed to renew it. New everything in boxes(everything!).Will post next week after I feel good enough to unpack for some pics. Too much stuff sitting around collecting dust right now.
