Dash Cams - Best ones for night vision?

Do a little research. I did for a couple of months before I finally made my purchase. I initially was going to get the Garmin model 10 which they have at many truck stops just because it was the most familiar name brand and I could have bought it with my point card. (I fuel at Loves) there are also Cobra,Blackdog and a few others.
After researching and finding reviews and opinions, I went with the DOD LS430W and so far I am very happy with it. I will try to remember to bring it home on my next off time to upload some clips. I also am using bought a Samsung 64GB PRO Micro SDXC for it.
If you choose the Garmin, make sure you get the model 20, as the model 10 does not have gps and therefor can not display location or speed.
If you consider the DOD model, pay attention to who is selling it as there are only three authorized sellers in the US, do to knock off counterfeits. Their warranty is only valid if bought from an authorized seller.

 

What is nice about the GoPro is you can put it into an infinite loop mode. When it fills up it starts at the beginning again. It makes separate video files that are broken up into 20 minute videos. The software can put them back together again if you want. Mine runs non stop for 14 hours using a 64gig SD card.

 

The 430 is the same except you can specify either 3,5 or 10 min pcs. It also comes with software that will actually overlay each video over the exact place on the highway that matches the clip that you are viewing.
