No worries man, just bounce to Sun Coast when you can. They're doing well and actively trying to poach our drivers so they're definitely looking to expand.

Then the companies that pay pilot for their services, noticed they were being billed for 26 hours a day, and refused to pay.

So what are the issues with Pilot I keep hearing. I have been given a start date of 2 Sep but little information from them. Having a hard time getting a hire letter from them or something in writing that states I have the job before I drive 33 hrs.

you are experiencing the problems with pilot, NO communication... did you get hired as a fueler? a driver? a crude division driver? and it gets no better once your hired.

Sad but funny TLeaHeart you are absolutely right!!!!!!

I was gutted today when Pilot Logistics called me and rescinded their offer of a position to me. I asked why and they said I wasn't flexible enough. I asked 3 times over an eight day period for something in writing. A hire letter? An offer letter? Something so I can ensure I have a job before I quit my job and head to Tioga ND which is 3 days/33 hrs drive from me. Apparently they didn't like that I wanted something in writing. I was shocked!!! Who does that??? I was supposed to start 2 Sep. I told them at this point I cant give 2 weeks notice to the company I work for now. After the call I was really upset...

Then another carrier called and offered me a position. I feel better but this is stressful for no reason. Now I have to see how it goes with Thomas.

Wasn't meant to be for a reason apparently. Thanks for the post. At least I know I will be in a better place. Good luck to you too.
