How are they with O/O? Is it forced dispatch or they give you access to run as you want?
-
The couple actual o/o I've talked to seem happy and they run when and where they want... Company drivers aren't totally forced dispatch I have to option to reject a load just can't do it all the time maybe once every couple months at most
seawind Thanks this. -
BTC does have EZPass. It doesnt work in Oklahoma, Kansas, or anywhere in Texas. We also have a good enough CSA score that we get the bypass lane at the scales almost every time. You should give the recruiters a call. Its a class A company to work for.

When you go home on weekends, do you typically get home Friday afternoon and leave early Monday morning? Or do you have to head out Sunday night to be at the consignee Monday morning?
-
I typically do the fri-mon at home thing, but live relatively close to Pittsburg, PA so getting loaded in and out is easy for me. Your results may vary.

I have heard/read good things about BTC and am considering them when I get out of CDL school. Does anyone know if BTC hiring recent student grads right now? I like that they have the percentage pay, they are a smaller company with around 400 trucks, and they aren't known as a driver mill. How hard is it to get the quarterly bonus to get the extra 3% pay? They say that new drivers average $1000 a week, is this gross or net?
-
They require I believe 3-6 months recent driving or flatbed experience they no longer hirer outta school... I normally bring home $1000 a week to my pocket. It varies whether your on mileage or percentage and how hard you run as well as what loads are paying of your on percentage
-
Yeah, gotta have at least a bit of experience before we can bring you in. Sorry about that...
