Just got a call back from a recruiter and trainer and he said they'd like to start me off in their training program which is about 4 weeks, maybe less depending on my learning curve i suppose. I explained my situation to the gentleman and everything he had to say versus what I've been told by other recruiters made me a believer that this is a good company to start driving for. I've been told nothing but good things about this company and even though I dont have any experience with them, the staff has been awesome so far. I look forward to working for these people. Training is $450 a week and then it goes to about .32 cents a mile and because I'm new he said about 1900-2000 miles a week at first with local driving in the SoCal area to learn the truck more and driving in traffic and then in a few months getting about 2500+ miles a week. I wont be forced to team drive and I'm assigned my own truck, no slip-seating he says. All in all I cant complain, things seem to be going fairly well so far. Hope this turns out to be the start of a good thing.

Ive had my Class A since Aug. 2010 but had no endorsements and an auto transmission restriction on it till last month. Recently went and did a behind the wheel at the DMV to remove that restriction and added tanker, doubles/triples and hazmat endorsements. Re-tested for everything.

Considering ive been unemployed for quite some time I think they are a good starter company for where im headed. Can't be too demanding given the fact i dont have the experience or school certificate. I'm just looking for the best possible outcome for me right now. I've heard about many other companies and maybe in a year or so I can begin to look at something else.
