Wow you can actually read the clock on that . Maybe it's just the 520's size but I need glasses to see the clock on it.

That is the 730. RM took out the time zone and made the clock bigger. I will post pictures of the 530's tomorrow when I get mine.

    Thanks,

The weather works great, fuel is very slow to collect the current prices but does work. Neither of these features cause the screen to freeze up.

Thanks for getting back to me.

What zoom level do you use? The closer it is the more it takes to paint the screen because more details.

    are you somewhat computer savvy?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Hope you have gone thru all the screens in Preferences to see the added features.

    Thanks,

Just purchased a new 520. Had a 500 when they first came out, switched to a garmin dezl because of the shortcomings. Hoped the 520 had improved, which it has, updated it yesterday.
My major beef with this and all "truck" gps:
Routing from Las Vegas NV to Phoenix AZ. On Aug 28 2014 still routes you on detour via US 95 when the new bypass opened up in 2010 and the printed 2012 Rand Mcnally map shows STAA approved for US 93 all the way.
No excuse for an update still not in effect for such a high profile heavily traveled route. It is on paper but not in my machine?
Refer to my dream gps thread. I guess we will still have wait for someone to market a serious navcom piece of equipment, that I am willing to pay for but no one else is

Parts of US-93 is Non-STAA. I archived the E-Mail that showed what parts.

You also may be one map set behind depending on when that 520 came out of factory and which maps it has on it. The Dock will tell you if you are current or need to update maps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Is it me or does everyone have this problem? When I update my 520 it always goes back to the default setttings. Seems I always have to go back in preferences and set it up like I want it.
