Owner operator with NFI

I have no idea were your working out of, I agree and disagree. First my undrstanding they recently hired a vp for the owner operator division. My experience out of Johnstown 3.5 years ago was terrible. Telling the O/O they will work as company drivers. Skimming a huge amount of miles off the top, Hiring us on with one fuel surcharge then without warning taking 14 cents a mile away. Management very spitefull. With that said, I have recently went back to the same account that I left. I heard they fired a lot of people, increased mileage rate and corrected miles paid. They have!!! Now what I'm hearing, the new VP wants to put more O/O on the road and is revamping the contract. Suppose to hear within 2 weeks. What hasn't changed is the you work when I tell u attitude.

 

I'm thinking about taking my truck over to NFI, but when I asked them to send me a copy of the contract they refused. they said I had to sign-on before I can see it. sounds too much like Obama care. can anyone post a current copy of the O/O contract.

Did you ever pursue NFI contract any further? If so how is it going. They always have alot going on here in MA and Im going to go check them out.

 

No I didn't go over there, Not going to waste my time. Any company that won't give you a copy of the contract before you sign on is hiding some thing.
