Does this company hair follicle test? I refuse to work for anybody that does, my preference so before you get all huffy puffy it would be nice if the question was answered with a yes or no. Thank you

What kind of hometime are you looking for? Weekly? Weekends off? Every other week? Do you want to stay close to home or rome all 48? Another question some guys need to know is what kind of truck do you want to use?

Deadhead found a local job with hourly pay AND weekends off...Good for him...That was the reason he left IRT, and it looked to me as if he'd still be there if it hadn't been for that.

Groundpounder's thread made me try out the CALEDONIA HAULERS...I liked them a lot, but I left them for weekends off and some time at home throughout the week. Not everyone of these jobs will work for everybody...You gotta find out what works for you.

    I've noticed nice-looking equipment driven by a company called R.I.G.(Richard I. Green)...

ALSO, not all of these TANKER companies will hire anybody...They'll look at factors such as the amount of jobs you've had over the last couple years and all that DAC stuff too...IRT seems to hire any and all who'll try which is good because they'll work the #%#*@ outta you and let you make some money...I'm sure they still have some flaws as others have posted before on this site, so you'll have to find what works for you AND who will hire you. GOOD LUCK!

In my spare time at shippers and receivers, I'll offer career advice, but not everybody works as hard as a guy like STARTING OVER IN TEXAS who used to do OIL FIELD work, not even me...For him, some of the bull@#%& he deals with @ IRT or anywhere is nothing compared to that oil field stuff...It's probably almost like sitting in Lazyboy waiting for the race or football game to start. So the choices are: do something; do nothing; or find an acceptable amount of bull@#%# that you can stand for...couple that with $800-$1000 per week take home pay and a roof over your head...and you got yourself a GOOD job.

I am looking at IRT and was wondering what rider and pet policies are there, wife is retired and has a small dog. I like the looks of this thread and think IRT would be a good fit for us....
