Fired for off-duty alcohol need advice!

Find a nice local company, most don't give an f about a DAC.

 

Judging by his past posts, this was CR England.

 

0.02 is considered the minimum detectable level as far as DOT is concerned. Any less than that would be a negative test. You were below that level, so you should not have a failed alcohol test on your record.

 

Moral to this story children is DON'T DRINK........the OP admitted to drinking and driving in his car ( that by itself should have gotten him fired) since he was still considered "under dispatch" because the employer's truck ( his responsibility ) was still at the customer's DC.....but like tigersroses1 said , there's too much in his post that don't add-up.....not calling anyone a liar or anything close , but 1+1 does equal 2.....here it seems that it doesn't. Bad decisions can and will adversely affect your ability to not only keep a job , but to GET a job. This is where I always say., drinking , and making the choice to drive anything , anywhere , anytime , knowingly after consuming any alcohol at all , well , that choice never works-out good for anybody.

 

Get in your car and find the smaller companies.If you really wanna keep on trucken and im pretty sure you do then don't depend on the net to find work.Start hitting the pavement.

 

It should be listed in the DOT hand book.
