Listen to Vikingswen and Moose, The winter roads just wreck your Iron, and the rates don't make up for the damage, not to mention the influx of new blood wanting their chance to get on TV and look like a moron. the Drama channel wants to sell ratings, behaving like the guys on TV are edited to look like they behave would get you run off in short order. A 11R24.5 tire costs you $1000.00 a piece if you wreck one, and a couple of hundred to put it on, low pros and baby tires just get you stuck.

so what is your experience running winter roads here in the lower 48? I'm pretty sure they will consider that a lot.
If you do by chance get hired, just don't turn out like that one guy from the south they called Pork Chop, what a idiot he was, eventually getting fired mid season, for to many crashes and tow outs -
Wants to get up there and get in on the Load Count! Lol

Hi guys.
My name is Yvonne and me and the boyfriend would love to work the ice roads. We have been to Carlisle in Anchorage but that was just the regular jobs. So no succes there. I need a phone number to get started on the Ice road trucking, not some run a bull website.
Boyfriend has experience for over 30 years in weather with snow ice and mountains. Can someone give me a contact number not a website.
Thank you! -
View attachment 187872 Check kijiji in season. This road north of Pickle Lake On typical of NW Ontario seasonal road as opposed to ice road lake crossings. Contractor Premay has to yield his water truck to let me by same as logging, loaded truck has right of way. They watered road early on to build ice, got slicker than snot on the steering wheel when the sun came out.
