Anybody else addicted to the road?

Me, Me...PICK ME!!!!! I am totally addicted to the road! Not a problem...it's better than cigarettes, drugs, or beer! (not to mention I actually get paid to be addicted! LOL)

 

I think I am i pulled up in front of the house today came in to take a leak then when back to the truck to sleep

 

3-4 days tops then i gotta go.... The trucking could end and i could easily just travel some other way. Like Train, bicycle or even walk

 

Then why even go home if going to sleep in your trk,lol.

 

you sleep better in the more familiar bed. i did that for years....

 

Can't say I'm addicted to the road, but I thoroughly enjoy my job.
Won't be a career driver OTR, but I can definitely see myself retiring as a driver.

 

Wish I had your attitude.I use to like it,took me 10 yrs though to finally hate it.

 

Not at all. If an opportunity came up at home that paid as well as what I make now, I would turn in my keys today.

 

its funny you bring it up. I've been out for 16 days now and I have a load going home I should be home in about 5 days or so and you know normally buy this time I'm done I'm ready to go home and relax for a little bit but for some reason this time I dont want to go back
