    Depends on how far east you are of I 95. TMC is a good outfit. From what Ive gathered these are all pretty good outfits. Look into:

    EPES transport
    Cargo transporters
    Abilene motor express
    Smith transport
    Melton truck lines
    Ozark motor lines

    Melton doesnt pay as much as TMC....I just hired an X melton driver so i know their rates. TMC% plan pays way more them melton's per mile. TMC per mile isnt much better, but no one driver per mile at TMC

    I'm in Hertford and talked with TMC a couple weeks ago and they wasn't hiring in my area. Going to call back after CDL school and talk to them again. If not TMC then I'm going with Melton. Good luck to ya.
