    Sorry, it is CA65

Unless they released the new maps during a narrow window and then pulled them, your maps are from 8/2013. If you turn it off and back on it should give you a warning that your maps are over a year old:

    You are correct doubleyellow...

I checked and it is from last year, however the updates should be out soon enough.

That being said, i think i will sell my spare 720 and use the money towards a 730.

I like CoPilot Truck on my tablet. Its based on PCMiler software. Pretty accurate, reroutes faster than any GPS Ive ever used, route plans as a RM does, gives me multiple routes based on my routing requests, allows for custom truck profiles, and updates about every 2-3 weeks. Not come across any roads that were not on it, including route 24 from Ft Wayne to Toledo. If you have a newer generation smart phone, you essentially have a GPS with a processor that is as fast or faster than the purpose made GPS'. CoPilot Truck is $150 first time cost, updates for life. Has traffic routing at a cost of $10 a year but it isnt a need. I will probably purchase a RM at some point, but not right now, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with my CoPilot serves just fine.

Yeah but the downside to anything cellular based is its using your data plan. For those with unlimited data plans it's no big deal but for the rest of us it is.

In the Garmin 465t, you can disable it. I don't know your model but in mine, you get to it by Main Screen > Tools > Settings > Navigation > Avoidances, deselect Traffic.

The traffic will still show and and the delays will be added to your ETA but that's it.

You dont need data to use it.. Maps are stored on the device. Data only nedded for traffic.

Ever try to use a cell based GPS without a data plan? It doesnt work because cell based systems use data to determine your distance between towers. Yes most new phones have a GPS radio built in them, but they still use cell data to determine land speed and distance.

The ones with built in accelerators and gsensors will assist in determining position if signal is lost.

If all I needed was a map database I would just use my Rand McNally Atlas

If you want an active gps experience on a cellphone then you must use data
