The best think about 4k video (for now) is the considerably larger video frame grabs they can provide vs from a regular 1080p vid. Even after correcting the lens "fisheye" effect, you still retain 94% of the original image. The TV's that can display 4k video stream are just barely coming onto the market and at very high cost. Not sure viewing a 4k production on a computer screen would be all that "immersive"
