Don't inspection reports have your name, address, and dl # on them? I could understand a typo and your truck number accidentally getting put on there, but the rest of the info is a little hard to fake.

I have had an officer do a lvl 1 on me under a different MC#. Might just be an error on the DOT's behalf!

I am calling BS on this one there is no way too much info on a DOT inspection to have a false one done.

They got my company, lic. #, name, age, d.o.b., tractor trailer lic. # and vins. Why would I lie? Just to come on here and make up stuff? Got a copy of the report right in front of me but I never had an inspection. Just wanting some answers....

I was at company location at the time report was supposedly done also... How can that not be a false report?

Were you in the general area when the supposed inspection occurred?

I've never been through an inspection. Do you have to sign it when its completed?

I'm just brainstorming some ways you could prove you were not involved.

I think if there are no violations noted, you don't have to sign it. If there are violations, then you have to sign it to ensure that you got it and that you will remedy the problems, IIRC.

They have you sign a copy for them and one for you to give to the company, my DTR shows I was at location at 9:47. I also have call logs at the company location at 9:56 and 10:00 a.m. The supposed inspection was done at 10 - 11, 45 minutes away. The company location has cameras don't know if they record. Don't have GPS and no EOBR, just paper, which would of been nice to show where I was.

    MJ1657 and bullhaulerswife Thank this.
