    No

Just the rocks in my head

Speaking of : CA is really going out of their way to make sure I never go out there

I called about the inspection for my truck today and they dropped this little gem on me:

They are going to split weigh my axles to make sure they split the weight within 10% for each axle - I was lead to believe they just measured and checked the controls and single leveling valve

    So I am truely screwed

No they split weigh and measure the difference Ron, at least they did many moons ago when I got inspected there. Mo was also good for it too, especially on US 63, as I found out the hard way,
The levelling valve deal is a requirement too though, lift cant be controlled from inside, fed from one valve, and so on.
They gave me a sheet IIRC, with measurements etc on it, as well as weights. Got it done in Reno, and the guy was super nice, more so after seeing it was a tri drive

Your only problem is when I converted to a single valve, the weight difference was much higher than 10% more like 30%.

My best guess was the difference in air bag volume between the Hendrickson and the airliner bags

My plan was to convert it then get measured then convert it back once I had the permit number. But that won't work.

Yep they allways weighed for getting Ca. cert. sheet. Try getting a 13 all cert.
The lady from Sacamento was real nice though. Rosa I think was her name. Nice older lady.
Ron have you tried making shim spacer plates yet for your tag to see if that will help with the weight dist. issues?

No that would have to be a "group" project

As I have no idea how thick to go with out completely changing the geometry of the axle

Pressure should be the same feed from one valve. Volume, in theory, shouldn't alter the weight as the axle had the same pressure pushing it down, if that makes sense?
What is the difference in bag diameters though?

Haven't measured but completely different shapes

Hendrickson bag is probably twice as tall and maybe an inch or two wider in diameter

    I can measure in daylight

When I had them level on the same valve I would get like 13-14 on the lift and close to 17 on each drive axle
