    I checked with Hendrickson after I got busted in OK for not enough weight on the lift.

    All the measurements were within their specs but the air pressure gauge was off by at least 50% to their expected chart

    I have been chasing this since I got the truck.

    It's been my experience that each air bag should have 100psi when full.

    That is not allways the case there. With my tractor drives, at 75 psi I would have 60k on my drives.
    The reason I say put shim plates between your airbag and bottom bell is years back AllState Peterbilt in Mn. was having issues with lift axles they installed not balancing out. They put a 1/4" shim plate in and it helped.
    The thing they found out is the swing on the tag axle was more than the drive axle swing..
    Does that make sense in what I'm trying to say?
    So putting the shim plate in shorted the swing down and helped even out the air pressure and give the tag equal weight as the drives..

    Kinda the same theory as when you shim your spreader bar to get more weight on your back stinger axle

    The more weight, the more pressure to hold a predetermined height. If you had a load gauge, it would read @60PSI at 34,000, and @75psi at 40,000 lbs drive weight. That is with the Airliner system.

    Ron, I think same tires would benefit you myself. Anyone you could "borrow" some tires off and experiment with it before spending the coin?
    I also think shimming is your best option. As far as someone else doing the work, I don't know of anyone as that is something I would do myself every time mate.

    The arc of the suspension movement is what you are talking about Carl, and you are of course 100% correct. that will also change with suspension movement, and thus change weights when that arc is not uniform.

    yes it makes sense but will require some trial and error toget it within 10% and then will it stay that way across a range of weights or only maxed out. this eentire thing has given me a headache, I just need a west coast 9 and I will leave the #### thing up. You in Oh yet?

    As long as it balances out when at an average loaded weight, it's fine Ron. The suspension rides lower or higher depending on weight as you know, but at an average weight it should work fine. The arc difference will also be miniscule when talking about maybe an inch in ride heights difference too.
    Make me a deal I cant pass up on that 3 axle then go buy a 9!

    No had tire issues on trl.. So I got hung for St. Louis curfew.. Cuba, Mo. Yea Ha.
    Oh the food here tonight was garbage... Do not try the lasanga sp..? here.. or the the Stuffed Peppers.
    Shoulda called Martin and had him call his wife to bring us supper. Can she make good Blood Pudding Martin?
