One benefit of having a felony in your past (even several years old).... is not being allowed to be on jury duty.... Oh well, i dont want to be on a jury. I would hate to be a cop, when I retired from service... I would have to be spending all my time in the court room on Grand Jury Duty...

Stay off the drugs man. I have been on a jury before. I am not a cop. Not a single cop or ex cop on the jury. Jury duty is random, you have no idea what you are talking about. Most cops are courteous to truck drivers. I even got pulled over once in my personal car and the cop gave me a warning because I have a CDL, he said he didn't want to mess up my CDL for something stupid. And most of the time when people in cars get killed by trucks the car is at fault, so it sucks to be them

Jury(what you do) is not the same as grand jury. Even if it is the car faults your gonna get sued and lose because thats the legal system man.

My company will get sued and possibly lose money, but I can not go to jail if I don't do any anything illegal

Am I the only one here that believes that this is being written on a 5th grade level of knowledge and common sense here?

HUH?? Please show us the data.. I actually was a member of a grand jury (it was horrible- I'm all for doing your civic duty, but do whatever you can to get out of grand jury duty) and there were no cops at all on it.. I realize all states are different, but in my state anyone that can serve as a petit juror is also eligible to serve as a grand juror.. Theres actually LESS likelihood of cops serving because of conflict of interest

    lcfd15 and Skydivedavec Thank this.
