It's an expression I picked up from a buddy of mine. I think it was Einstein who said, "Time is an illusion, albeit a powerful one". I don't pretend to understand that, but I find it interesting, so I say that, "in a minute" as a joke. Plus I am kind of slow, can't keep up with the likes of Cluck and SHC anymore. But I will catch them in a minute. (-;

 

"In a minute" was something that I would say to my mother or father when they told me to do something. That was usually followed up with a smack in the head. Needless to say, I don't use that expression anymore.

 

No doubt they tell me min my ### I said do and that means right NOW.

As OCD as I am looking that crooked in my mirrors would drive me absolutely bat #### crazy. I'm so bad that when I load one of the reels I haul I get a tape out and screw with it until it's within a 1/16" of being perfectly straight and center.

 

Hand.....I am the same way. The look I get from the loaders is like........:-X " if I have to pick this thing up one more time. I am stuffing this where the sun dont shine."
I'm like uhh okay.

 

Yea I've had that look from crane operators I just tell them either load it where I want since they are getting paid by the hour or put it on their trailer which they don't have it the relationship with my customer. The district manager just tells them that they do what I want or won't be invited back it sure is nice to have a customer that has your back.
