OK, you have an attorney. I hope he actually is a good one. Sounds like right now, what you need is patience, and lots of it. All this crap takes time.

Another thing that comes to mind, is that your employer is required by law to have workers comp. So even if one company they had it with goes boobs up, they still have to have coverage. I'm sure your lawyer is addressing this issue as well.

    Good luck.

Yes he is but his hands are tied for now thanks to the system as far as patience they are wearing thin going on 2 years. Trucking is all I have ever done since I was 23 an we all know how sitting is bad for a driver.
Thanks for the advice an support.

I've not heard anything about them filing for bankruptcy or Prime buying them out.

Get on the horn for a work comp lawyer ,the company didn't go bankrupt but they are still liable for anyone in their equipment

When the WC insurance goes BK then it goes to the state risk pool. Takes awhile to straighten it out. Eventually end up with one big check to catch it all up.

I have a friend who is with Henderson. The story is that Henderson has leased their fleet on with Prime. Presently, everything is running as usual at Henderson. It's all about business. Henderson is using Prime's load board which increases load numbers. Henderson can also use Prime's buying power for tires, etc. Really nothing different that an O/O leasing on with a company. Maybe over time there might be a buy out but for now both are running separate business.
