I haven't heard anything regarding the IAM, it's the teamsters everywhere. In Miami, New Hampshire, California, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia. Con-way is constantly updating us, it's actually kinda surprising they are being so open about it.

I've heard of the IMA, I'm just unsure how aerospace and machinist fits into trucking....unless our maintenance department has started it's own quest to become signatory?? I know there has been some talk about the mechanics at our outfit feeling excluded from the current ground swell at Con-way. But the drivers......definitely the Teamsters!
So many different barns have filed with the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board) that there is talk of a Con-way Freight becoming completely unionized by the first of the year. I think that might be wishful thinking by some, but there has been a lot of fliers being left on employees vehicles in multiple barns (including mine) from the Teamsters. So the word is definitely out! They only need 51% of the employees nationally to file with the NLRB, they are voting in many locations today so we'll see. (and many more have filed for recognition)Last edited: Oct 23, 2014

Mechanics can sign with them and drivers go with Teamsters, where I retired from our mechanics belonged to another union then at some caraul companies the mechanics were Teamsters to. -
semi retired semi driver Thanks this.

They brag about having members at Yellow, apparently they don't know it's Yellow/Roadway now and USF Holland, must be the janitors because those are Teamster Companies. Would be a very foolish thing to even consider them.
