the petro is the one i would go to. been to both a few times in the last couple months. casinnt buy fuel there so $20 to park but i usualy pay the breakfast buffet and couple small things out of the store to snack on and then your all good. the people at the gate never really checked my numbers that close last time i did the breakfast then hit popeyes chicken for dinner and had bought a couple rockstars out of the store they just wave you through.

and really if i had to pay $20 stright up with safe parking as the main part of the deal, no problems.

You can park free across the street from the Petro in the dirt lot/railroad right of way. Not sure for how much longer though. As soon as trash starts piling up I guess the railroad will be building a fence.

Company drivers can park virtually free. Save up your receipts to show the gate nazi, food drinks whatever. Or you could buy a gallon of oil or coolant to get that magic number. I usually buy oil and grease stuff like that I'm going to need anyway. Write if off on the taxes and get out the gate.

One good thing is there is no "gate nazi" on the way in. You just get a time stamped parking ticket from the machine, the gate raises, and you are good to go. No charge for less than 2 hours.

What I'm looking for is a place to stop for hometime. Unfortunately I can't park at home. Any suggestions?

A little east on 10, next to the Rush Pete dealer is a place that is less per day and if I remember correctly does a small discount for a week.

There is a dude there that collects money so major rif raf level is controlled.

Unless you have a company yard you will be paying for parking in SoCal.

yeah, I figured that would be the case. I'm just hoping to find a place as safe and cheap as possible. I'm looking for the best of both worlds ;)

On Slover west of Cherry in Fontana, there's 2 places. One's a truck stop so to speak, I think just fuel and the others truck parking, daily/weekly etc. Now this was a few years back and things might have changed. Pretty close to Robertsons redi-mix plant. West of 3 sisters truck stop/truck wash.
