The only thing I heard was that it running full time (except when truck started) unless you turn the unit off. And supposedly has heater enabled also. I cannot confirm either of those as I have a tri pak. Other than those things, nothing.

The Carrier APU is it's own HVAC system (no fuel fired heater) I used to have one on a previous truck. It has a generator instead of a inverter. Which requires unit to run any time you want power. Only thing I like is the fuel line and belt placement is better on the Carrier. Plus when you open the lid(two spin knobs holds the top plate on instead of a flap as on TK) on a Carrier you can actually see the belt condition. There is a few other differences but minor things.
MachoCyclone and Steel Tiger Thank this. -
Can a reefer unit run 72 hours at -10 degrees on cycle? I have trailer r5511 sitting at leprino foods and it's going to be there almost that long. The temp highs here are about 60 degree with lows in the 40's. I'd hate to have to fuel it and mess up my 34.

I've seen quite a few new names posting on here recently. Just wanted to say "welcome" and if you have ANY questions about ANYTHING, feel free to post it in here. Someone will do their best to answer it. After all, that is the purpose of this forum; to help others succeed.

Anyone have any suggestions on a DM. I have lost mine. Not sure what happened but he is no longer with company. Was just told to start asking around if I wanted a specific DM or I would just get assigned a new one.
