Wonder how far newbies have made it?

Congratulations to all you who have tried. Still in business or not you have succeeded. Nothing to be shamed about. Plenty millionaires failed at a business venture 1or 2 or several times. We all find our niche sometime. Good luck to all you drivers.

 

The carrier I worked for was self insured. They got all the money,but since I was assuming you could figure that out I must have been telling a half truth.

 

You were. Out and out lie. You posted in another thread you got $6,000 for a 25 mile run and now the more and more you post the real truth comes out. This is why I believe 0.001% of the rates people say they got.

 

Truckers like to talk ish.

Seems there are more drivers rolling around in 600 hp motors getting 7mpg then even Catapillar produced.

And people wonder why I am so cynical.

You were simply assuming. Again showing your lack of knowledge.
Very few can even insure a load of that value.
Certainly 6 speed could not and you certainly should have known that.

 

heres the point you are trying to overlook, you stated you pulled a 6000 dollar load 25 miles. it wasn't a 6000 dollar load , it was a 500 dollar load with a 5500 dollar insurance surcharge.

there is a big difference, the load paid 500 to haul, aint none of us insurance agents. so the fact that it was 6 grand total to the customer means nothing in a discussion of what the load paid someone.

 

I do think ,however, that it would be safe to assume the 6 speed is full of baloney. and again what became of your investment??

 

You should really refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about it makes you look stupid with a side bonus of proving others points.

Trying to remain unbiased. But I have to admit,.. your 'stories' (If I may) seem a bit far fetched. That and following some other posts you have made in other threads and you seem like a pretty negative person.

This is my opinion based on my observations. I dont mean to insult you,. at least not directly. But you do make it difficult for me to understand why or where your mindset is at.

Are you trying to advise or actually help anyone,.. or do you just loath anyone who seems to be doing better than you? That may be a bit personal to ask. But if you dont mind opening up a bit,.. would you help me understand where your interest is in all of this?
