Couldn't have said it better. If Company A wants to ##### foot around and string me along, I'd be gone in a flash for a better opportunity too. Any calls made best be run thru your attorney first too.

If you leave them after they pay for your orientation, you burned the bridge.

Western is better then swift or usx anyway. Western also has a flatbed division that pays halfway decent once you get experience.

you may have to take whatever you get at this point, establish a better work history, then move after a year probably

I am 22 and have one speeding ticket (11-19) and nothing else. My first choice was CRST, since they have 8 month contract. Its very short, thats why I chose them. I went through their school and orientation (well not exactly) On my 4th day of orientation, right when I was supposed to go on the road with the trainer. CRST presents me with paper that said I have a speeding ticket in 2012. The recruiter said she was sorry, because she didnt see it on my application. I tried finding a job locally but I have to be at least 23 to work for them. So, I went with Werner and I got hired. SO, before you do anything make sure to tell your recruiter, everything about your past. DO NOT HIDE ANYTHING, theyll find it and youll just waste your time. And dont read everything that said on the internet, becouse its very rare when people tell or rate good things about all companies. Every company is bad on the internet it seems, but if you speak to lets say Swift trucker, Ibet you money he will say its not as bad as people think, unless if you hate the road then you shouldn't be driving anyway.

So you've never had a job or what? What exactly you mean by no work history.

Hell no, it means that you meet the minimum qualifications that the company is looking for, you still have to pass the drug screen, company road test, and go out with a trainer is applicable.

Do Western Express flatbed for 6 months being careful not to have any accidents and then call Maverick back. I bet they would hire you then.
